Not an easy game - they drew at Bromley on Saturday, having taken the lead twice. And, despite our brilliant turnaround, we still look a bit iffy at the back.
So a sensible pundit would probaly go for a draw or a narrow Aldershot win.
I am not a sensible pundit - we can win this and we will. Aldershot are not Notts County or Wrexham, and we have rediscovered how to score!
We've got a hell of a mountain to climb if we're going to avoid relegation, but if we're going to do it, we need to start Tuesday.

All the upcoming games are winnable, we just have a small problem of the other teams want to beat us, bit of an inconveniance

We also need to win our next few games because postponements are starting to create fixture backlogs for many clubs - Oldham especially. That creates its own pressure, so points are ever more vital.

You do wonder if a few games will get called off again tomorrow with temperatures still below freezing in some places. Shouldn't be what keeps us up, but it does mean a few of our relegation rivals playing Tuesday / Saturday schedules and travelling the width and breadth of the UK for a few weeks in a row...
If we win tomorrow, the come back could be on. Gateshead have Wrexham (2nd), Torquay have Woking (3rd) and then Oldham and Yeovil have tricky games against mid-table sides. Clutching at straws but tomorrow could be a big win and if we play like we did Saturday, we'll stand a chance for sure.

I think I read somewhere that the Woking v Torquay game has been rearranged for Wednesday as the freezing temps should be gone by then thus guaranteeing the game being on.

I noticed there are National & National South / North games tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday. Shows you how congested the calendar is at the moment!

With the amount of games all the teams down the bottom have in hand, tomorrow's game is a must win, if we lose I think that's us pretty much gone.

It's true the longer we wait for a win the harder it gets, but we still have games against most of the clubs around us. If we win most of those we can still get out of trouble. Let's not forget some of them still have to play each other so will inevitably lose points along the way.

The form tables (The Fishy), show us rock bottom, with no points from the last six games. Aldershot are mid table. However, we must hope such things mean far less than scoring four goals against the top two teams and arguably only failing to win on Saturday because of the referee. If we lose, no doubt the Facebook site will be apoplectic, but win and it might just shut them up for a bit.

Nor do they indicate how we're playing or the revived spirit in the club. Also Aldershot's draw with Bromley was courtesy of an own goal, so not as impressive as it seems. Still a hard game, but hopefully our regained spirit will balance that out.

Indeed - George has a 50% win rate having played the top two sides so far, and we've played much more attractive football in those two games compared to... well, most of the season.
Not saying we'll win by any means, but we'll certainly give them more of a game than we would have a month ago. 3 of our measly points total came against Aldershot away and, sure, they've mixed things up since our visit but there's nothing to say we can't put in a performance to get 3 more against them.

Anyone else having issues with the streaming site? Slow to the point of not actually being responsive (nothing loads) and when I do get to the page to click on the stream, it says I need a subscription (which I have). First time using it - any ideas on a quick workaround to get the game on?

Finally in. Aldershot moving the ball well and we haven't quite woken up yet. Come on Stones!
