I think Hak's comments are probably fair enough.
I wonder if it it will emerge about the goings on though. If you watch the program they did about managers, it is clear to see what his approach is - to quote Steven Fry's Wellington - "There's only one way to win a campaign, shout, shout and shout again".

What also needs to be remembered is that we all have our limits and regardless of money available, Hak's record looks very much sub NL. Nothing wrong with that - otherwise we'd all be premier league managers. People can improve of course, but only if they learn from previous experiences. John Still admitted he just had one formula that he'd stuck to through his career and by and large, it worked for him at that level. To progress, you need to have more than that. Leadership has been likened to a set of golf clubs - you need a variety to be successful. You can get around a course with not much more than a seven iron and a putter, but you are not going to do it in par! Hak's hard work ethic is only going to get him so far and at NL level and above it is not enough. Other teams have you watched and soon suss out your weaknesses - in our case hopeless at corners and set pieces and no Plan B when things don't work. As for who may come next, wonder if Stu Lewis might be interested? Youth team at Spurs, while has the drive we could need.

Here we go again, some people pining for Jay like a load of love-sick puppies.
We were very poor for some time before he was sacked. Once his luck with players ran out his tactical naivety shone through. What has he done since? Was he great at Margate? Nope. is he great at Tonbridge? Well, have you had a look lately? (I have).
Move on, look forwards, get someone else in and stop living in the past.

I feel for Hak. He is a decent man, always willing to shake the fans hands and have time to talk to them. I will never forget the few minutes we had when I received the phone call during covid. Of course it is easier when the team is winning but there is no doubt in my mind that he is a very decent guy. I had wondered if he was tough enough with the players but Joe's comment and the mystery over Tom may mean he was. He has been under pressure all season, injuries far more than normal, poor recruitment, players making stupid mistakes and just a run of bad luck. The Dorking game must have seemed like a kick in the teeth when he knew his job must have been in jeopardy. York was a game that could have saved or sunk him and when his controversial defender stuck the ball in his own net from 30 yards you can imagine how he felt. Was the clubs decision right? Yes I think so. It appears we will shortly hear that we have new owners and they would want to start with a clean sheet. I would hope there will be an announcement soon both about the new owners and manager. It will give us some hope for the rest of the season as without those changes I could see the fans slipping away and it would need another winning season to bring them back. Thank you Hak for the best season since we left Dartford and my eternal thanks to our current owners for saving the club or we would have nothing to moan about.

Not sure Jay would be interested to be honest and who is to say that Tonbridge can't sneak into the playoffs and be the team that replaces us should we go down. I use the word should to keep you lot happy but unless something very dramatic happens it'll be when not if.

Hak has given his Championship winning medal away to a young supporter.

I'd love to hear the old "Jason Ders black and amber army" chant again...
On a slightly more serious/realistic point - it's odd how the fans take some managers to their hearts and not others (judging by things like that chant and the one for 'Billy Williams'). Even though Hak got us a Championship and back into the NL, there never was a regular chant for him.
