First up, will it go ahead? Met Office says a max of 2c, dropping to freezing from 4pm, but not any lower, strangely. Can't remember what pitch they play on, but do remember how they played at the G - vulnerable at the back, but Alty on steroids when it came to counter attacking. If we play like we did on Saturday, we will get absolutely stuffed, but (maybe), our players will feel sufficiently hard done by from that game, to make amends. Let's hope it is not the same ref as we had when they came to us.

IMS we had a game called off because of snow in the early days of the new stadium because it wasn't deemed safe for spectators - not just in the stadium, but the roads, etc, I think.

Not sure we can get down Poplar Grove safely, let alone to Dorking. Preparing for cancellation…

I think it would be in the interest of both teams to cancel and rearrange the game.

It was a very narrow band of snow affecting something like a 20 mile wide strip SW to NE through Kent and East Sussex so unlikely to have affected Dorking.

IF the game is on, then steaming is likely to mean a lower gate you'd think. £4.75 to stay at home instead of being out in the cold AND the chance to switch off if (when) it all goes tits up AND no travel in sub zero temps too.

Now the Wrexham game has been declared all ticket, wonder if that’ll be streamed. After all, the whole thing was set up for Wrexham.

Dorking's Twitter just announced the game is definitely on.
Temperatures at a flat zero for kick off / in terrible form / crap ground / no trains running / streaming available / World Cup on the television / on a school night / near Christmas... safe to say I don't think we'll be taking the 1,000 odd people we did last time.
Despite this being my flat bottom least favourite ground in the league (Bromley is a tight 2nd and I imagine if I went to Gateshead I'd feel similar) I might make the trek tonight.
