The problem is not it’s all ticket. The problem is people having to make the journey to the ground from 10 20 30 miles away or more. I understand online sales could mean away supporters can access home tickets and I understand that’s why that option is off the table. The club must have known this is one of the 4/5 games to be all ticket this season age’s ago. Tickets should have been available to buy for at least the last 3/4 home games. There is nothing to stop die hard Southend fans driving down and purchasing tickets in the home end if their allocation is sold out,its nothing short of pathetic from the club. Still sore about Notts County date moving mate?

Nothing to stop them coming and purchasing them as it is at the moment. Being available at our home games would mean them missing watching their team play which if they are that die hard they wouldn’t do.

Still sore about Notts County date moving mate? Yes! But that is just one of the things that is destroying my love of this club. It no longer feels like the club I have watched for so long, there is no enjoyment anymore and without enjoyment, well what's the point. I am looking forward to Needham away, a proper and affordable day out.

Fair point sword. It comes on the back of Beth's dismissal which was dealt with by the club in a way that left a bad taste. She was a popular figure. It was no doubt done for the best of reasons, but the way she heard and we heard about it, wasn't great. There was initial communication to supporters from the club via a little read match programme. Best was to convey the news ? Communication from the club could and should be better. Imo we need to hear quite a bit more from Hak and he could do with being more expansive and upbeat. I like Hak, he is an asset to the club, but all we get at present are short, non smiling, after match tv clips of him, sounding downbeat. C'mon Hak, you can do it, supporters back you.

Beth preempted any club communication by announcing it on the internet with relatives declaring it was to save money. They were always going to struggle to control the narrative after that. Even though employing a GP as replacement will likely cost more. Still haven’t heard similar outrage about someone else who left at the same time. Wonder why that might be.

So, will they be even be able to make the game on the 25th then? Very sad to see a long term FL team in this situation.

If you are on about that piece of shit Simon Daniel ,who broke company privacy laws by attacking my personal life all over Facebook and only kept his job because sacking him would have given negative publicity to the club and I came to a compromise with Bill, then good riddance is what i say. And what good is a commercial manager who brings no money in?

They have had numerous winding up petitions over the past 10 years but always seem to make an 11th hour reprieve. However, if it did come to be then that is one less relegation place to fill!

Would be amusing watching them moaning about the lack of away tickets at Frinton-on-Sea.
They should give us the home end…

So, will they be even be able to make the game on the 25th then? Very sad to see a long term FL team in this situation. Yet again our basket case of a club gets dragged through the mire. Not new to us. HRMC must have a hotline. We have sailed close to the wind several times. It's ridiculous that a club with a great fan base is constantly in court for unpaid bills or not paying its staff and yet clubs with half the fan base run very well. Accrington being a prime example. I'm sure this will be paid off. The chairman would never let us go into administration as it would mean losing control. The next big cheque comes in when the new training pitches are finished in the next couple of weeks and the stadium phase starts. He is playing Russian roulette.... Again! As for the game. Tickets secured and looking forward to another away day.
