I always thought Kevin Lokko was a National League standard footballer Unfortunately Aldershot were the latest no to think so, which is why he's at Farnborough!

Out of interest................please correct me if I have got any of these wrong (im sure I have!) Lee Worgan EastbourneKevin Lokko Farnborough Anthony Acheampong Without club - retired at 32?Callum Driver Without club - retired at 30?Tom Mills Last seen on Whitstables books but not playingBen Greenhalgh MargateAlex Flisher RetiredDan Sweeney Stevenage BoroughJames Rogers Folkestone Bobby-Joe Taylor G 22 DorkingTom Murphy Cray Wanderers??? (doesnt appear to be playing?)Jack Evans ChathamJamie Coyle RamsgateBasile Karagiannis (for Murphy 71) Disappeaered without trace - such a shame - one of my favesJack Paxman Gravesend & Northfleet Dumebi Dumaka (for Flish 73) Disappeaered without trace?
Only two higher than NLS and many just petered out...................Non-League is a funny old game!
I believe Vas went abroad for a couple of seasons and ended up in French non league for a while - not sure if he's still playing. Dumaka went to Dulwich and then it looks like he's possibly retired - he looks like he's done well in business so may have not had time for football even part time. He's also currently Director of Football at Dulwich. I think Tom Mills still plays but absolutely no idea where? I thought Crouch was director of football ball at Dulwich?

It always felt to me that Crouch was just a face for these things with the TV show being made around his involvement. Dumaka may also just be being generous about his role at DH, but that's certainly what it says his current role is on his LinkedIn profile

When I started this thread, the hidden subtitle was something like - 'Who would attract interest from other clubs in the bottom half of our league?' Since then, suspect that list of names is rapidly shrinking towards zero! Quite what can be done about things is anyone's guess, but what is becoming ever more obvious is that we are lacking quality all over the pitch. The step up from NLS is the equivalent of championship to premier league - but without the sponsorship money. The clamour for a new manager is reaching Tory Party proportions, although in Hak's case, he has never made any false promises. And what would a new manager do, unless he also gets significant funding to recruit at least half a new team? The FA Cup matches have shown that we are not alone in losing to lowly opposition. Shit happens. One thing for sure is that somehow, the club needs a bit of luck. Quite where that is going to come from is another matter entirely. It is going to be a long, hard season.

When you have a squad of 28-29 players and only a few are good enough for this level, you really fucked up the recruitment.

We have a huge squad in terms of numbers.
If only there was some quality.

Just been listening to Jacob Mensah's interview. He sounds ok. Jacob perfirmances half decent too. You never can tell but his attitude is good Couldnt have joined at a worst time but he's plenty positive. Belated welcome !

It always felt to me that Crouch was just a face for these things with the TV show being made around his involvement. Dumaka may also just be being generous about his role at DH, but that's certainly what it says his current role is on his LinkedIn profile Dumebi Dumaka was in the boardroom for a number of Hamlet’s home games last season and has indeed succeed Crouch as Director of Football since the end of last season. The Crouch role does look like it was just a vehicle for the TV show. However DD is now officially on the club's board of directors, which Crouch wasn't, and I believe he was instrumental in the recent appointment of new head coach Paul Barnes. As for DD's playing career, he was sadly forced to retire by a chronic knee injury at the age of 24 after Hamlet were promoted in 2018. (He did continue to make occasional appearances for his local club Barking in Isthmian D1N the following season.) Anthony Acheampong was also in the Hamlet squad promoted in 2017/18. He spent the following season at Welling but doesn't seem to have played for anyone since then.
