Tactics, movement, passing, its all gone to pot. The football is deteriorating week after week. Rubbish long ball game is shocking Can it get any worse ? Our next 5 league games are against Notts County, Southend, Yeovil, Solihull and Eastleigh. So yeah I'm expecting it to get worse. If we only manage a draw Saturday then the replay will mean that Notts County will be our 3rd game in six days as some idiot agreed to a Friday night kick off and we could get mullered big time.

Technically, I don't think we can get any worse, that was pretty much the worst I've seen in recent years. But, with the opponents we've got coming up, it certainly can get a lot worse. Even this Saturday - Needham are 5th with a game in hand, 3rd in the form table and have won their last three games without conceding (5-0, 2-0, 2-0) They must be licking their lips at the prospect of a 'giant' killing... Lost at home 1-0 in the trophy yesterday. Wonder if their FA Cup run was enough for them to sack off the FA Trophy, or at least not be up for it as much? They've seen us struggle (to put it lightly) over the last 2 months and might smell blood in the water. Beat us and the prize money would be incredible for them, as well as getting a scalp in the cup.

Regarding support staff, I stood near the dugout for the second half to see what was going on. As well as Hak and Terry (the latter seemed to be making all the calls), there was a young chap with a laptop, who took the memory card from each player after they were subbed. There were also two more men sat outside the dugout - presumably not players - who may have been coaches, but didn't appear to actually do anything, apart from hand out drinks. Wonder what they do and, if we can afford them, why couldn't we afford Beth?

Just realised there are no replays in the trophy, decided on penalties, well this round was anyway. With this in mind I have changed my mind at Notts County we will not be mullered, just soundly tonked.

I'm taking 4 non-Maidstone supporting mates to the Notts County game. The phrases 'this could be a bloodbath' and 'we're very out of form' are going to be used a lot in the walk to the ground...

We should be part time like Wealdstone so our budget attracts the best nonleague players. It's common sense really but for some reason the club wants to try and attract full time players on part time wages.Hence the fact we can only serm to get U23 loans.

All time discussion points….
1) Is Worgs that good?
2) Would Millsy have made it in League football.
3) Part time v Full time

As far as I can tell, we are sort of part-time, but training during the day. Paying better than part-time salaries, but (perhaps) not real full-time salaries. So, fúck knows.

I’d like someone to do a proper bit of journalism in the subject of part time v full time. The concept of getting the best of the part time players seems simple but is it really that simple?
Wealdstone do have a lot of players on good money and they have had a cash injection but they are aiming to “go full time” themselves (I read up a little). Is this because they have league aspirations - otherwise why do they want to change?
I want to know and I want someone to find out!
