Let's hope not. This might not be a 'must win', but it certainly feels like a 'need to' win, if only for a confidence boost. If we can't start beating the teams around us at home, then we are in deep trouble. Hopefully Roarie will be back, because his link with Hoyte down the right is so important to us. Worth sticking with Alabi and Barham together up front too? Can't see us not conceding goals anytime soon, so therefore we need to score plenty. Score early, score plenty and hope they don't score as many. That should make for an entertaining afternoon!

No worries - let's just hope for a win.

I have a feeling this could be a tight game, but going for a 25 nil win with a Christie Pattinson hat trick. At least the pie and chips is achievable

I see we're the favourites with the bookies as it stands. Not so optimistic myself.

Ten mins to KO and 40% of the Genco is occupied by about 30 away fans. Somebody not been reading the news maybe? Meanwhile, Earle is on the bench and Mersin back in goal. Significant?

As dull a first half as I can remember. Notable only for: - the amount of time the ball was in the air - the amount of time the ball was off the pitch - the number of times the ball had to be replaced
We didn't concede though and our newest recruits are doing ok.

Poor game from two teams totally devoid of confidence. Mersin apparently has concussion according to Hak on Radio Kent. Not sure whether that just made the goalkeeper choice easier or whether he would have kept the shirt. Hak's substitutions made the difference again but how have we lost the ability to pass to our own players. With both teams smashing 60yard long balls it was often more like tennis than football. Having said all that, if we'd taken either of a couple of early chances it might have been a better game. The refs performance matched both teams. By my count we had five strong penalty claims. In any game you'd expect at least one to be given. Glad to get a point and a draw probably just about the right result.

I believe that Hadler was suffering from concussion but Mersin put in a good display.
Poor game, fair result for 2 mediocre teams.
Barkers looks like another poor loan signing & it was an improvement when Odusanya replaced him.
Why do we persist with the tactic of hoofing the ball upfield?

Two poor teams that will be scrapping down the foot of the table most likely. Last season we could see our style of football, this season I have no clue.
Aimless long ball after long ball. Our best passer of the ball by a country mile is Booty, yet the defence bypass him whenever they have the ball. Why?
These tactics will send us down. last seasons tactics we will be ok, just.

I don't think any of that was down to tactics. We just looked (unsurprisingly) lacking in confidence and Halifax weren't any better. I've never seen two teams give the ball away so much. Hopefully the last minute equalizer will help us to start building a bit of confidence. Next week is vital, not only for a cup run, but also to build confidence further, and hopefully a chance to reintroduce some of the players coming back from injury.

Another mediocre looking new face.
Has Hak lost his touch in signing talent ?

New defender hasn’t been playing much and not at this level so would give him a few weeks to get up to speed.
The game was poor. Reminiscent of the Boreham Wood first half. Two crap teams.
They were happy to keep it tight and we didn’t really take the initiative as the home team. Looked like an end of season game here no one can afford to lose.
The goal was a kick in the teeth. I just couldn’t see them scoring.
We were the better side. A loss wouldn’t have been fair.
