We still require 2 keys signings. These 2 must strengthen us .

Position and workrate seem to be Hak's bugbears at the moment and we are indeed not up to either. The top of the NL is starting to look like two leagues above the NLS. However, we have seen that in Euro and World Cup qualifiers, a well drilled team of minnows can hold off a team of superstars if they stick to their formations. We are yet to learn how to do that - probably because just not used to it compared to last season. Whatever, they need to start doing so from now on. As well as defensive frailties, we are not scoring either and maybe if we took our chances better that would have an impact on the 'top' teams. Corne our only consistent scorer which doesn't help either. Shouldn't be happening, but it is almost as if we are intimidated by these top teams and forget how to play properly as a result. Moving up levels is not just about strength and skill, it is also about what goes on between the ears.

Lyons-Foster just isn't up to it at this level.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the fiasco for the away fans yesterday with many fans still queuing at kick-off with turnstile not excepting cash payments when we arrived at 2.0 clock.Bromley has got to be on par with Dover for poor match day experience for away fans.At least you can see the game at Dover but at probably one of the most expensive admission fees in the National League I for one will certainly consider whether to attend any future matches at Hayes Lane.

To a certain extent the over zealous approach can be blamed partly on our fans previous behaviour in taking pyros but it is still unbelievable they weren’t prepared for a big crowd. As for the facilities. It’s the minimum they have to offer and no more.

The experience is always poor and unfriendly at Bromley. Its why I (and others) refuse to go. Surprised more than 500 still tolerated it.

The Spikey vlog at 45 seconds seems to show smoke outside the ground, and there was internet chatter about pyros being discovered before the game as the reason for the delay. Can anyone confirm?

Bromley, Boreham Wood and Dover Athletic are the 3 worst offenders.

Just reflecting on yesterday and still disappointed with the team's showing. Anybody who travels around supporting the team how the right to call the performance shite, thats exactly what it was. The fight, passion and never say die attitude of the players has disappeared. Nowhere near as good as last season. Lost every battle on the pitch that mattered. When we were without the ball, players coasted. Never saw that last year. New faces so disappoiting, very little impact. Yet players who wernt good enough last season in NLS are given match time. Dont get me started on the Mersin v Hadler debacle !

My God when you think Bromley had real problems with scoring goals before the Stones fixture. Puts it in perspective. Another shambles of a performance for Hak to ponder over.

They did the pre-sale tickets so had an idea of how many fans would attend, yet one turnstile That one turnstile was operated with a scanning system and card machine linked to the main stand via a Netgear router -- The Netgear router has a square top with a whole all the way around so that heat can escape from the unit to stop it from overheating, although Bromley thought it was a good idea to leave the cellophane sticky sheet on the top of the router meaning that all the heat stays in the unit, this means it heats up and as a result the performance of it is seriously affected. -- They refused to accept cash payments for entrance, probably as they couldn't be arsed to give the young lady on the turnstile a cash float. Could not find any programmes, just sheer dumb luck that when I went to order a burger and drink that I saw them at the back on the shelf -- The drink's cans of coke were luke warm and brought out of a box that was full of water and the cans just soaked in water, not a problem if they are cold but luke warm -- In the programme it did say that the Programmes, pin badges etc can be purchased from the food outlet for away fans, but you can only find this information out once you actually have a programme Fans were still queuing 25 minutes into the game to come in, 1 turnstile, 1 female steward, 3 male stewards of which two of them pat you down (yes you get patted down twice, within 2 yards by the different stewards). Fans were coming in after it taking ages saying that they had been accused of using online tickets that had already been used. We were dowsed when they stuck the sprinklers on (Something which even the home fans have complained of when reading the centre pages of the programme)
Please if someone at Maidstone reads this when Bromley come to visit us can we treat their fans and especially their owners etc with the same amount of disrespect, discontent and disdain that we received.

We currently have a squad of 26 players. Surely we would've been better off going with a smaller squad and spending that budget on actual National League quality players. People can sugarcoat it all they want but the recruitment this summer was not good enough. Which is exactly the same situation as when Jay took us into the NL too soon. Hak needed another season in NLS during which he could draft in NL level players in readiness for the promotion push. The close season was too late to recruit the right sort of player. So how would he draft in NL players when in the NLS when he can’t seem to get them when we are in the NL??? I don’t get this promoted too soon nonsense. The summer should be long enough to recruit players you have identified.
