First part of your comment is right, the second point is a gross and unfair slander. You clearly don't know all the reasons behind the move but you have made your mind up on suppositions. If you knew the whole picture I guess you may be more sympathetic. Maybe. So why did he leave ? Please make us sympathetic. [br He left for a better situation I’d imagine.

Finally got round to seeing the highlights, how the f**k did we get away with just 4-1 you could easily have stuck a 1 in front of that 4. I dint think I have ever seen a Stones team look so bad, even when we conceded 7 at Chelmsford. I honestly thought it was just exaggeration at how bad we were,I know now it was not exaggeration but underestimation. Jesus are we in trouble☹

If those wins dry up them we are in the plop.

Hak must be worried too He knows the team needs strengthening. But can he recruit the players we need ? In a much tougther league and in the absence of Luque, JBM, Phillips and Hadler we def look weaker than last season. Add to that the tinkering with the defence and we have gone backwards. Disappointingly, none of the 'new' signings we have seen have done much of note. What a contrast to last season. Worrying times.

Jay did it in 16/17 - without all Hak's much vaunted contacts and know-how. So it should be a piece of piss for Hak...

Believe what you want. You're wrong ! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA If we sign Michael Phillips all it shows is a defeatist attitude that we have given up and are preparing for NLS next season. He had a number of good games for us last season, but as Wealdstone and Barnet have shown he cannot make the step up (he's not the first football player who wont be able to make a step up in league and wont be the last), he might've got player of the season for us in our relegation year from the NL before but that was mainly down to him being one of the few who somehow survived the whole season more than anything else. If we as a club have any desires of establishing ourselves in this league and avoiding relegation right away we need better players than Michael Phillips, may seem harsh but sadly that is the business of football, it works both ways, sometimes players want to move away to improve their career other times you have to stop re-signing players as it is just not going to work out, how many times did we re-sign Greenhalgh, we can't be players safety nets when it doesn't work out for them again and again, we need to think of ourselves first and foremost and do what's best for Maidstone United Football Club and that is signing players to make us NL standard not NLS standard.

Say what you like but I think Michael Phillips is under-rated.
As a holding midfield player he ticks the box for me.
