I'm taking a more scientific approach this time - so I'm doomed!
But... we seem to have remembered how to score at last, so I think we'll put 2 or 3 in. Halifax are the lowest scoring side in the league and have only managed 4 goals in 6 away games, so they aren't going to score many. On the other hand, we are bound to gift them at least one.
Our base Saturday crowd (not counting away support) seems to be about 2,200, with a variation of about 100 either side. But will recent form/results reduce this, or the chance of a win bring the fair weather supporters back? It's still early days, total depression hasn't yet set in and the weather forecast is good, so I'm going for the latter - 2,250 for us, plus 50 from Halifax.
So I'm going for Stones 3 - Halifax 1, att 2,300
I won't be there for the first half, and might miss the whole thing, so whatever happens is nothing to do with me!
Unless, of course we win 3-1 in front of 2,300....
