Perhaps Hak's problem is, that in order to keep two first team goalies happy, he has to rotate them? If one finds himself on the bench for most games, he's not going to hang around.
I'm actually surprised we've managed to recruit (and hang on to) two first team standard goalies. That's pretty good going at our level. A very nice thing to have, but not easy to manage.
Perhaps it's an indication that, this time round, the club is taking the NL more seriously? If you're going to survive and prosper at this level, perhaps you simply can't afford to have the U23 goalie on the bench?
"JDL is quite correct in what he says so best you all apologise to him."
Hak is still a way short of selecting his first choice X1 and the team are not quite there with match fitness. Another perforance like at Altrincham will be fine with everybody giving 100% of their best. York are off to a flier and a fancied play-off team. So another point on Saturday would be a good result imo. Win, lose or draw, as long as the players show commitment and effort, thats what matters most at this stage.
They’ve just come up like us, but finished 5th. No idea if they’ve been spending for life in the new stadium, or are the same set up who were relegated. They will score, but so will we, so I’m going 2-1 win for Maidstone. Let’s grind this league out one game at a time.
Worth pointing out that York's ground is now used for lots of Leeds U23 and U18 games, I'm not sure what the deal is but I suspect they'll not be coining it in quite as much as Boreham Wood do.
The heat really does make you a moaning old git Mick :-) You'll be joining all the whingers on the politics thread soon....
Got a lot on my mind at the moment and that is making me more cranky than usual. I have also just bowed to family pressure not to attend on Saturday because of health worries and the affect of the heat on them. Have fun everyone ill be there in spirit only☹
