Updated to reflect Marshall joining, Fawole leaving to join Averley, Walters returning from loan and Cawley / Bone / Corne joining the injury list. Going to assume Zouma has played his one and only game for us? Hasn't been in a line up or even on the bench as far as I can see since his calamitous debut at York. Still absolutely no sign of Woods either. Genuinely weird. He hasn't been involved in a match day squad since 29th August away to Aldershot, where he was an unused sub. Anyone know anything? Woods has been playing for the U23s Interesting - is that a recent thing? As in, he's been injured and looking to find match fitness?

Agree with much of what you say, but when you comment "we must learn", I don't think there is anything collective responsibility or learning experience about it. Simply down to one person ultimately. He's generally called the Manager. Whatever the financial constraints and whoever he may be, it's all down to his abilty and nouse. Yeah, Chris Kinnear may not have played the most attractive football at Dover but he made the budget he had stretch as far as it could to ensure that they were comfortable at NL for so many years When you have a budget and are not one of the more glamorous teams (Oldham, Chesterfield, Notts County, Southend with their history in the league) then you have to work hard to make sure that you get as much as you can out of every penny. A bit like the Oakland Athletics in baseball (Watch the Movie Moneyball).

Whichever way you look at it - and am probably being generous here - we have probably had reasonable use of about 15 players this season. The rest have been plagued by injury or just not good enough. Over the summer, we were told that various players weren't signed because we couldn't afford them, but clear now that, had we signed 3-5 quality players, with decent track and fitness levels in the NL, then that would have been money well spent, instead of wasting it on 15+ players who have contributed little or nothing. Looking ahead, because there is little left for this season, we may well have a core of players capable of doing well enough in the NLS, so a sensible clear out is now required. If/when we get back to the NL, we really must learn from by our serial recruitment errors in this league, when only in the end of season 1/start of season two did we actually get things right. I would go as far to say that I think some players were not even scouted. I reckon some of the loans have just been brought in ad lib or after a call from the parent club.

If was me as the owner or chief exec (Terry, Oliver, Bill), then I would expect the manager to consult with me over any recruitment, mainly so the latter knew they did not have a blank cheque. Am guessing Bill retains extensive knowledge of players, so would hope that any major managerial expenses have a degree of scrutiny.

I know we signed a couple without medicals and surprise surprise they've been missing ever since. This is what happens when you cut corners you get fucked up the proverbial.

Surprised nobody has seemingly snapped up Hady, yet. Obviously had a lot of injuries, but you'd think someone in the South would be screaming out for a striker at this point of the season.

Any player signed by Hakan, who is now surplus to requirements at Maidstone, must be a possible recruit for Dulwich. Speaking of which, Dom Odusanya's 1 month loan will have ended and I've seen nothing about him extending that or returning to Maidstone.

We do probably need him back - we are very thin at the moment in midfield. Sam Bone moving to midfield gives us options there, but any injuries and we're looking very thin. I've always been a massive fan of Dom's but he just hasn't had the chances here! Would love for Hady to sign for DH and get a run of games - he really has had no luck with injuries here and seems a nice guy.

Somebody told me that Sword's a nice guy but it doesn't make him an NLS striker.
