The good thing is, it can be debated at the supporters evening. What is there to debate? Those are the prices. Pay or don’t pay 🤷🏼♂️ Discuss, not debate. If someone isn’t happy they can bring it up and the owners can justify or explain their price point.

Day admittance is £1 more than I expected but still under £20 so no moans from me. Season ticket price £320 is not bad at all but as I am likely to miss midweek games and doubtless a few Saturday games through illness it's just not worth it for me to pay that much up front especially as I haven't got it. All in all I think the prices are very fair and I would hope its enough incentive for season tickets to fly through the 1500 mark this season.

Southend United are not a 'household name' in my household. At least not without a dodgy adjective in front... No mention of non-online sales. £5 on top is a bit much if you can't just walk down there and pick up your ST.

If we want the club to be able to put a competitive team on the pitch at the NL level then we will have to help finance that with higher ticket prices, the money is not going to magically appear from out of space.

Sounds very fair indeed with inflation and higher wages and costs for the club. £4 increase is just one less beer...easy sacrifice to make as you cannot drink during the match?

I am more than happy with the prices and will be certainly getting one. The only thing I have yet to decide is whether to stand or sit!

I was in the Genco all season last season, not sure if I should get a seat so I can always sit if I want and not have to get to the stadium early to get a good spot in the Genco.

My dad has had a seat in the main stand since day 1, but I'm fairly certain that despite turning 80 this summer he'll probably in the Genco for at least some games! From what he says, if he doesn't sit in his seat, someone else does - not sure how that works if he decides to use the seat for the second half if Stones are kicking towards the Town End.

The people next to us do this - fine by me, as the bloke who sits next to me is quite large! Although it does get a bit draughty in the winter... I've never quite worked out how they allocate 'spare' seats. There are often seats apparently available, but no way of knowing whether or not they're in use - still in the bar, watching from elsewhere but returning later, not using seat today?. How do the stewards know which it is? We've had people in our seats a couple of times when we've been late, but they've always moved without trouble. Once this season, the guy who'd taken my seat then got moved on from the next seat he tried, and then again from the next two - it was quite odd watching him slowly moving diagonally across the stand!

Don't delay, as there aren't many spare seats - and the few that are available are usually right at the Genco end. If you ask, they will usually give you first choice of any that become free elsewhere, but do it as early as you can. If you get a choice, go as far back/up as you can - the rain can reach several rows up, but the last two rows are usually OK. And avoid the ends for the same reason.

Has anyone had an email about renewing for next season? Nothing in my inbox from the office since the one about the Supporters Evening last month. Don't want to miss the boat on this!
