What a win! I was expecting a bloodbath based on the last few months, but where did THAT performance come from?? Incredible. Shows we have it in us and can play to a much higher standard.
Everyone gave 100% effort and we had a strict game plan that we stuck to. Fair play to Hakan and the lads. Was great to see how much it meant to them at the end and nice to see Big George bring Hak over the fans at the end.

Deserved your win but Hadler was a t**t at the end inciting the Fleet fans. Enjoy the win by all means but the incitement was unnecessary. Fleet fan here in peace. The more motivated side won on the night, no complaints at all. Your number 8 was motm. Even game overall I thought, but tactically you got it spot on and stopped us playing our game. Sorry Alan, but I was stood behind the goal, Hadler got abuse all game (fair enough its football) but some of the part time idiots who only show up for these sort of games and think its the Football Factory decided to launch food and drink at him near the end. You can't be complaining for him to start goading the same morons who were throwing things at him? Football fans are a precious bunch. 200+ people can give it to someone for 90 minutes - calling them names, throwing things, chants, etc - but as soon as they get it back a little bit it's the worst thing ever. Great to see how much it meant to Hadler at the end, getting his stomach out and chanting 'you fat bastard' with our fans. Lovely stuff!

He that outlives this day, and comes safe home, Will stand a tip-toe when this day is nam'd, And rouse him at the name of Sam. I like to think that Shakespeare had the Stones in mind when writing Henry V.

What is certainly a priority now is to try and sign George Fowler. Imagine him and Joe at the back. Fowler's quality has shown through in recent games.
I also hope Hak rewards this team with a decent run and doesn't change it back to how it was during losing run just for the sake of it.. the players who are out must earn their place back in the side.
The effort shown in the last three games has been a real pleasure to see.

Take nothing away from Browne as well - could easily see him converting to a centre back at some stage. His pace helped us so much last night.

Fleet are clearly a good side but you like to play against their defence every week.
They’ll score bags of goals I am sure and looks like they’ll be too or there and there abouts but they look a bit bullyable (is that a word).

Well done everyone. Well done Hadler. Deserved your win but Hadler was a t**t at the end inciting the Fleet fans. Enjoy the win by all means but the incitement was unnecessary. Your joking right? Your supporters deserved it. The abuse he got all game, had every right to give it back 😂

Very good swordy Many a good battle has been fought on St Crispin's Day, notably Agincourt, but none compare with Stones great victory.

Just watched them and certainly a breathless first half. Their first goal seemed to creep in, but nothing was stopping the second. Three decent goals for us from open play (!) and on balance we deserved the win for sure. Let's hope they are just as up for Saturday's game.

Looking back on Hak's post match Stones TV interview plus his interview for KentOnline, he emphasises that he is not put off by supporters criticism who he believes have the right to say what they want. Seems Hak advised his family not to read social media. Also mentioned the need to protect his players from negative opinions. Tbh I don't think Hak has come in for that much criticism and what there has been has been pretty mild and muted. You will always get a noisy few who go ott on just about everything but the majority have been fairly even handed imo. Doesn't mean there is no pressure to succeed, because there is from owners and supporters alike. But I guess the greatest pressure comes from Hak himself who sets high standards which for quite a few matches were not satisfied. Hopefully the corner has been turned.

Or in this case the turn has been Corne-red. We need him to stay fit and not suspended at the moment.

I've always liked Sam but it seems he's moved up a level this season. Doesn't feel that long ago that 'some' supporters were questioning if Hak had lost the dressing room. It's a typical supporters response after a team has a poor run. Anyhow, looks like the question has been answered. Still plenty to do, plenty to see, plenty of points to accumulate.
