Just been comparing Ghandour's career goal scoring record with Pavey and they just don't compare, especially if you look at the level where the goals were scored. It must be sickening for Alfie to see players with half the talent, let alone proven record, selected in front of him.

Sadly numbers, I think you are right. The movement of our forwards is really poor. Even at throw ins, they just sort of stand around, thinking they are invisible. How have they become so poor over the past 6 weeks ? It was not always like this when early season play promised so much. Some of the midfield play seems very predictable too, we are missing creators in the Khan mode. Hope Booty is back tomorrow to add a touch of class. If anybody sights Jake Gallagher, let us know, he's def gone missing. have a look at where the teams we were getting points against at the beginning of the season and i think you may find the answer to your question of performances over the last 6 weeks. If you are suggesting that we can only beat canon fodder, then some supporters are suffering from a degree of delusion. But there's always Ebbsfleet tomorrow that may just destroy your point or maybe confirm it. Time will tell.

Ghandour has shown absolutely nothing to suggest he should stay so far, but as we've discussed - it's not like our forwards get a huge amount of service to feet, so God knows. I think he'll go back and we'll probably look at moving one or two of our current strikers on as well at some stage. Possibly replace them with someone in the league below (https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/isthmian-football-league-premier-division/goalscorers) or another loan?

Have a very bad feeling about tonight. Saturday was a short-term remedy to long-term issues, with a penalty luckily getting us over the line. Keeping a clean sheet would be like a win and fingers crossed we can steal a point.

Not many supporters seem to expect much out of the evening. Saturday's win hasn't done much to lift the gloom. Lack of forward power remains the main issue. Trouble is that our inability to score goals leads to a losing mentality if ever a team scores against us. Prediction 4 - 0

Three strikers in the Ishmian Premier on 14 goals. On our tight budget and with quality strikers hard to come by unless you can afford to spunk 'real' money, if I was Hak I'd be looking one step down the ladder to see if there is anyone there we could pick up. For me, you've a much better chance they will score than signing a striker from a bigger club who got a few goals for Tooting and Mitcham before being signed to make up the numbers in Charlton reserves. Given the fact from open play, we couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo at the moment, it would be worth a try.
What we need is someone like this lad Muhammadu Faal who plays for Enfield - 24 years old, has scored 14 in 15 this season. He had a spell in the FL playing for Bolton and Barnet which wasn't successful, but who cares if he can do it at this level.
What we cannot do, is nothing.

If we don't laugh, we'll cry...

So it's 21 against 3 comparing on a like for like with Ebbsfleet.
Just so pathetic.
Are we expecting too much in expecting our team to manage 1 or 2 goals on a regular basis ?
Hak has not recruited the right players up front, either permanent or temporary.
We can't keep playing duds up front, failing in front of goal eventually drags the whole team down.
It doesn't do a lot for supporters either.
What seems worse is that we seem to be losing movement and creativity from midfield too, meaning fewer chances are coming the way of our strikers.
If we need around 20 chances to stick one away, then it all becomes a bit problematical.

I wonder if Jake Gallagher will show his face tonight, hoping he does, along with Booty

As everyone is so depressing and miserable, I’m going for a 3-0 away win. You can thank me later.
