Saw him in the queue for the burger bar at half time. Didn’t speak to him.
Heard he is injured from this forum on another thread.

What has happened to Sol? Is he injured? Hardly any minutes during pre season.

These are 2 important players for the team.
Both would normally be definite starters.
No information has been released by the club, but there are big question over their fitness.
Disappointing.

Lets hope JBW's injury wasn't serious.
Would have been a heavy defeat if not for Hadler's saves.
If Alabi is going to be our regular penalty taker then he needs to do better than that tame effort.
I think that Woods, Booty & Deacon will collect plenty of Yellows in the NL.
Injuries permitting, replace Woods with Corne & Cawley with Ellul & I think we have the starting XI for Altrincham.

I think the starting XI at Altrincham will be...
Hadler Hoyte, Fowler, Ellul, JBW Corne, Odusanya, Booty Deacon, Alabi, Ghandour
Subs: Woods, Cawley, Iandolo, Pattison, Mersin (or is it more subs in the NL?)

You do not know which key players were deliberately rested yesterday. Taking JBW off straightaway was prob a precaution.
I can see us playing quite defensive away from home with maybe 3 centrebacks.
Let the games begin...

Blimey. Barham not even getting a mention.
Serious doubts about BJW and Ellul. Raphe Brown out of conntention.
Really hope we dont go with 3 centre backs, anyhow fitness concerns seem to rule that out.

Reading all this from 1000 miles away, I am rather confused. From the friendlies I saw before we flew out, things looked pretty positive. Has it really all gone so wrong in just two weeks?! Or is it just the usual doomsayers and pre-season panickers?
