Nigel where is this news. Can’t find it anywhere You're not the only one who read it that way. Swampy man, you gotta be clearer on your posts i almost booked the 3/august of thinking I'd get to the Chatham game. It was perfectly clear. I said I was going to the Herne Bay game. He told me to rethink as it had been moved.

Many years ago, Tory Medway Council sold their council housing to a housing association, investing the money to provide a very low council tax. Labour won power and went on a big project spending spree. The pier in Rochester and Chatham Town's mini Genco stand were two recipients before they spent the lot (£70 million?). Is this totally true ? New 3G pitch, new stand/changing rooms behind the goal, newish stand along the side of the pitch, investment in maagement/players. Obvious some decent sponsorship deals, Chatham have set their sights on the National League as the aim, longer term. A club going places, they have definitely got some dosh being pumped in now and it sure ain't the Council.

A far cry from a few years ago, when they were saved by relegation from rhyman south,by being shifted into the rhyman north

Nice ground, good place to watch football, floodlights a bit dull, but overall pretty decent. Thought chatham actually looked a like a side that will be close to winning that league. Few ex national/nsouth players bodkin,Hayes Rooney. Think maidstone looked liked they had missed three games in a row. Need no more games called off.

That place has changed!
I quite enjoy games at Chatham Town and have been a few times down the year. The last being a women's cup game between Gillingham and Herne Bay.
There is obviously money going in at Chatham and they look like they have a half decent side

2-2 in the end.
Stones went ahead thru Hoyte, before Akindi made it 2. Chats got it back to level just before half time
Entertaining, competitive first half, thought Raphe Browne looked very lively.
8 or 9 substitutions early in the second half changed the tone completely, and not for the better

He's ex-Bay. There will be snarling

I thought hoyte was maidstone best player, barham worked his socks off Hoyte is a fabulous player, our best I think. Just consistently good. I've liked what I've seen of Barham so far, superb application. I had him noted in the Bearsted game early on. He jumps for headers really well.

Didn't make it in the end unfortunately, but hoping I can get down to the Charlton game Saturday.
Looked busy from the clip posted on Twitter - any idea on attendance?
