......Ipswich Town.
Good luck to him, hope the move works out for him and his family.
Wimbledon fans not happy as they believed he was going to a Championship club.

Interesting that he was a free agent at the end of the season. I imagine he negotiated a pretty tasty deal to accompany his new 3 year contract.

There is one member of this board who will enjoy the Wimbledon fans being unhappy. I reckon pigs missed the pies at Maidstone so signed for Ipswich as i am sure the pieman does the ones at Ipswich to.

Ah, got it now !
I wondered what was meant by the 'tasty deal' that Pigs negotiated with Ipswich.

I think it's a good move for him. 3 year contract with a chance of being promoted at the end of the season and closer enough to home that he will not have to relocate.

Ipswich are 10 times the club that Wimbleshite can ever dream of being.

Nice club Ipswich, I can even forgive them for delivering the knockout blow in the last game of a season that saw Leeds relegated to League 1 for the first time in their history. A real low point in supporting Leeds. Happily I had already decided to be down south that day so I was at Walton Casuals watching Stones lift the League Champions trophy instead

Pigs has a new strike partner. Conor Chaplin drops down from Barnsley. Only 4 goals in 34 appearances. Had a 1 in 5 ratio with Pompey earlier. Looks like a big'un little'un partnership. Only 5'7.
