Lager... You are all massive girls blouses Wembley don't sell ales. Lager or cider is all there is, at least it was the three times I've been. For a so called prestigious national venue the catering is absolutely appalling. Maybe better in the VIP bars, I wouldn't know, but for the plebs like me they're obviously more interested in their sponsors than the paying customer. There must be something in their contract that says they can't sell products from rival brewers. Actually it's not only Wembley, all London theatres I've been to also only appear to sell lager and cider, apart from Hammersmith Apollo where you could get Websters in can.

Why would you be getting lashed up at the theatre? Webster in a can. Jeez that is desperate stuff 🤣🤣

Given what's on offer though I normally stick with a glass of wine, but the last time I was at Hammersmith was for the Quo original line up reunion tour, and somehow wine didn't seem appropriate. Ended up sticking with lager because Websters cream flow in a can is an even worse option 🤢

It all goes down the (dust) pipe in the end. Still off topic, Watneys red barrel took some beating for overall awfulness.

The next 45 mins may feel a bit less tense if we can score early again

The next 45 mins may feel a bit less tense if we can score early again Gareth Safegate has cost us this game. You do not defend 1-0 for 45 minutes. We let them take control and barely touched the ball 2nd half.

Can only agree, though we are still in it and Grealish is at last on for Mount who did sod all in the second half.

Oh dear. Fear that Southgate will get stick for not attacking more in the second half, but credit Italy for the way they came back. On balance, they probably deserved to win on the pitch. Penalties will always be a lottery, but justwhatthefuck was Rashford doing? Just hit the ball and if it goes down the middle, so what, the keeper has already moved anyway. Did we exceed early expectations? Definitely. Could we have won the tournament? Without doubt. But we didn't, so move on and try to win the next one. Still a total pisser though...

Same old, same old - when it comes to the crunch, England fold. Feel sorry for the younger people who believed the hype, but what I saw tonight was pretty much the usual stuff.
The curse of the early goal. How many games have we seen where we spend the rest of the game trying to defend a one goal lead, only to concede and lose or drop 2 points??? FFS.
And what exactly did Rashford think he was doing?? You place it, if you can - if you can't, you hit it hard down the middle.
Still, look on the bright side - can you imagine how Johnson would have milked it if we'd won?!

Safegate set up the second half to defend a 1-0 lead,a disastrous decision that cost us the trophy, he should be hung, drawn and quartered🤬
