Maybe it's the pandemic, or maybe it's a sign of general selfishness, but find myself increasingly pissed off with the attitudes of some people. Road rage for one, but seems on the increase. Two examples recently. One on one of the roundabouts near the Medway tunnel - I had to swerve to avoid a bloke in a Mercedes who tried to enter the roundabout from behind a van and nearly hit my car. Gave him a blast on the horn, but then, as he overtook, wound down the window and gave me a mouthful, as if it was my fault. Second one was in the traffic light section in Aylesford village. Cyclist carried on through the red light into on coming traffic. Again, tooted the horn in warning and was told to f**k off in reply. In both cases, the temptation to remonstrate is really strong and in the cyclist's case would loved to have opened the door and knocked the bugger off his bike. However, such things don't get you anywhere and he was bigger than me anyway. Not worth the damage to the car either, of course. Just two examples, but it seems to happen a lot - and more frequently these days. It's the same with pedestrians, most say thank you when you give way, but a few are just either lost in their own world, or too selfish/arrogant to bother. As for littering and fly tipping, I just despair. Time to bring back flogging, the stocks, ducking stools and transportation methinks.

What annoys me is people walking the wrong way up the one way system in the chequers centre.Another thing that annoys me is when you are driving down from the chequers roof top, into king Street and you get someone walking up the tunnel, even though it says NO PEDESTRIANS

Delivery van drivers: many are ok, but a minority are good bing the r at a bad name. Coming home the other day, couldn't put my car on the drive because a delivery van had parked on it. Not across the end, right on it. WTF is that about? Twice now been close to being wiped out by vans driving out from just actions without looking and a third time with one doing the same exiting a filling station. Suspect it has much to do with too many parcels and not enough time to deliver them. There is a neat solution now emerging: go to a shop, buy it yourself and take it home without the middleman.
