It'll all end in tears, might make a good film though in a few years. The Scots had trainspotting,no reason the Welsh cant have Sheepshagging .

Reynolds has got the money to run a championship level team, Wrexham does have the capacity to increase fanbase but they'll need to do something about the condemned end of the ground to allow for an increase of attendance.
The thing that i question is why are these to Hollywood actors picking Wrexham, they have no connection to the team, they are north Americans so you would've thought that they would've looked at the NA market to create a new team or buy a team in. Just really odd that they chose Wrexham.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out we've seen foreign owners come in for teams at our level before Dagenham springs to mind with the new York Yankees but nothing seems to have changed there.

The number one reason for looking outside North America, is the Ponzi scheme called MLS. $200m for a McSoccer franchise. There is no promotion/relegation, so no path to the "top division", if you buy a USL club. MLS owners (mostly NFL owners) keep the power. Can't speak for choosing Wrexham, but my guess is their egos tell them they can get Wrexham back to the Championship, and then court more investors for the push to the Premier League. Hollywood actors with their feet firmly in the real world, surely.

They'll have to buy it from the university before they can do anything with it.

Takeover now approved by the FCA: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55955988Not necessarily the best time to be buying, to be honest, but OK if in for the long term. Lovely feature on Wrexham itself in the BBC Sport ( Wales ) article ......

Surely Maidstone would have been a better option fot them rather than Wrexham? At least it is less than an hour from Gatwick Airport.

Never get involved with the internal dealings of a football club..... Wholesale resignations from the Supporters Trust wst.org.uk/?p=1634 maybe in response to the reinstatement of a Trust Board Member previously suspended wst.org.uk/?p=1631
