I don't know if we are,if I suspect it has been worked out on wages not attendance then we might not be and those 5 are the 5 clubs paying silly money to their players.

This is misapplication of national lotteries commission money. Yet even more illogical decisions by idiots who haven’t a clue. Borehamwood get more than us. How ludicrous. I know their entrance fee is extortionate, but not pro-rated to the amounts the leagues are being given. Beggars belief yet again.
If I were Terry or Oliver I would be knocking on their door asking for an explanation or justification.

Assuming we play 2 home games per month then in usual circumstances we would have 1800 × £ 12 =£21,600 times that by 2 =£43,200 and we have been given a max of £36,000 and that ladies and gentlemen is a seasons loss of around £72,000 ,if we receive the £30,000 award that will be a loss of approx. £132,000. This will possibly mean a cut in the budget quite soonish.

Apparently the 5 being reported on the BBC website are Maidstone, Dulwich Hamlet, York, Chester and Hereford. Confirmed. Us and those 4 others will receive £36k a month instead of the £30k the others are getting.

The National League is to distribute the government's £10m support package on an average attendance basis, meaning seven former Football League clubs will receive a larger sum.
Chesterfield, Hartlepool, Notts County, Stockport, Torquay, Wrexham and Yeovil will receive £95,000 a month, with the 16 other clubs receiving £84,000.
National League games are currently being played behind closed doors.
The first payments of National Lottery funds is scheduled for next week.
In National League North and South, the majority of clubs will get £30,000 a month, although Chester, Dulwich Hamlet, Hereford, Maidstone and York will receive £36,000 a month on the same distribution model basis.

Oliver goes on the attack:
' Oliver Ash @olivernjash · 11m As you rightly state this is a scandalous and biased misuse of public funds by the National League Board. We shall be taking action together with other clubs to get the decision quashed and funding redistributed far more in line with lost gate receipts, club by club. '

' Hail Oliver Would not have expected any other reaction. There are at least 12 NL clubs whose average crowd is less than ours and Dulwich and yet those clubs get an extra £46,000 a month night on £500,000 per season all to pay for the over inflated ,silly wages. Absolutely disgusted and no word of if the payments continue for the rest of the season should Covid remain threatening. The death toll of clubs is going to rise and rise🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Absolutely sickening announcement. What a waste of lottery money. Got nothing to do with how much clubs lose by closing down. National League pig trough rules, ok.
