Next up are Hemel Hempstead on Saturday. HH have had a week off having been given a bye in the FA cup 3QR and so should be fresh whereas we have had an arduous cup tie in which we picked up a number of injuries, something we could have done without so early in the season. The players heads will be understandably down after our exit on penalties and so it's up to Hak and Big George to get them fired up for this one. Providing they are not to shagged out after Tuesday I am going to go for a 3-1 win in front of our equal highest crowd of the season 0.

Important test this one. Win and they restore the equilibrium, lose and folk will start asking questions. Having come back well at Havant, you'd think they are more than capable of doing it again. Let's hope Seaman and Porter continue to do well.

Tuesday night was a poor effort, no end product. Seems like the owners are more upset than the supporters. Back to the bread and butter now. Like sword says the team has to lift themselves. 3 points and the FA cup effort will be long forgotten. Fancy a 2-1 win.

Article in KM online talks about Ibby Akanbi and his return from injury. Can't come a moment to soon and yet. Watched him last week-end for the under 23s and he looked well off the pace. I do rate him no question, but no point in rushing back cause he just wont do himself any favours or the team if it is too early. Not much pre season training doesnt exactly help. Still good news he getting closer to match fitness. Good player imo.

Scoring from penalties is a different matter altogether.

Anyone know if this is the same link/password as the Welling game. I think so. The e-mail says: "This will cover you for the first 6 games"............

Once again, thanks to MUFC / Ian Tucker for delivering the on line programme - top job. A delivery of beer & oriental snacks would be great as well Sad reading that Kane Rice has stepped away from running the U23's , great job was being done there by Kane & Austo.

Panic in JDL towers - can't find headphones and R/H channel on stereo not working! Mrs JDL not keen on having the volume so high I can just about hear Fred on the other channel...
Stereo fixed (kids had pulled one of the wires out of the speaker!), and headphones found (needless to say, kids had moved them...).
Now to the football!
