Sounds like Hounslow were getting stuffed so let's play our strongest player Mr Racial Taunt. It could be a genuine grievance of course but of course they will refuse to play any replay at Greatness Park and Sevenoaks will probably have to go to Hounslow to finish the job off. I was actually going to this game but tried to buy a ticket online and the eventbrite site kept freezing so in the end I couldnt be bothered with it all.

Saw Bears v Chatham last night @ Honey Lane. 2 - 5 away win for the Chats. Great game, Bears in it for quite a while before being overpowered in the 2nd Half. Really good crowd ( nearly 300 maybe - parking a swine ). Many ex Stone playing for Chatham, who have real momentum this year in what looks to be a great league competition. Noticeable was the number of loud, overweight pissed up fans from up the 229, loudly supporting the Chats, brought back memories of our own Kent League days....

Been to Chatham v Glebe today 2-1 HT match abandoned as Glebe play the racial taunt card and refuse to play second half. 400 peoples afternoon ruined.🤬🤬🤬

Yep incident happened in the first half with scores level, game was held up for 3-4 minutes whilst ref spoke to first the glebe coach and then the Chatham keeper. A few minutes later Chatham go 2-1 up then half time, glebe seem to come out for second half, fair bit if chatter between the players of both teams which resulted in glebe leaving, ref blew his whistle to signal end of the game announcement over pa system that there will be no more football played today.

The fa need to speak to the no room for racism team and get feedback from players as to a protocol for incidents like this going forward as second game in a week in Kent that has been abandoned due to alleged racism. Teams need fans attending but if racism issues continue and teams leave the field then fans are going to go back to watching overpaid primadonnas on the TV and teams could end up in financial problems as fans won't attend aa they won't know if the game will be completed.

I did wonder why it was held up,but spoke to several Chatham player after the game and they were as nonplussed as every one else. Glebe players left the ground laughing and joking,make of that what you will.

Havent heard any more about this but it would seem Hounslow have been thrown out if the competition as Sevenoaks are down to play Corinthians tomorrow.

I sent a e-mail to the Glebe fc Chairman expressing my disappointment at his club walking off for unsubstantiated racial abuse and not giving a damn about the 400 paying spectators. He has yet to reply,and doubtless will not.
