I see George had a spell at the Dags so maybe Hak knows him. Checking back I see he turned out 13 times for the Stones without scoring. JS1 let him go for whatever reason.

He was very underwealming when he played for us last time. I can't recall anything of note that he did on the pitch. Rumour was he was let go because he was a bad influence in the dressing room.
But everytime he's played against us he's looked very decent. If he's motivated then he will be a standout player for us.

Very good performance by the Stones tonight. About 30 Stones fans there. George Porter looked very good and scored. He is the NL talent we need if we are to challenge this season. Hornchurch keeper was Josh S who was brought to Stones by Harry Wheeler.
Good penalty save by our sub keeper.

Strisovic only played League cup games as far as I recall.

I only saw Raven Constable for 45 minutes at Herne Bay and I was suitably impressed by his positioning and distribution and he made one excellent save but with Lewington as no.1 will the young man be prepared to wait for his opportunity?

Hornchurch keeper should have stopped both long range goals (1st & 3rd),a very poor flap at the latter. Think their ground was double booked last night. Certainly there was football but the mosquito (0r similar flying things) convention going on at the same time made it an 'interesting' evening.

Another impressive 2nd half display from Raven again last night. What I like is his command of the area very confident at coming of line to close down attacks and collect crosses. Apparently he has signed as back up keeper with a view to being No 1 by the end of the Season.

Surely not 473 bets Porter ? Well his 12 month ban is now up and why he might be a bit of a prick, he's a bloody good footballer. Is he a "prick"? He fell out with Jack Parkinson, which if anything is a sign he might be a lot less prickish than is commonly believed.

I popped along to Beckenham vs Glebe last night for a bit of local (for me) football. Rampant with mosquito's too! If I don't have covid, I probably have something else from the amount of stings I got from those flying b******s!!

A quick Google doesn't bring up a lot, if anything, for the most of those trialists named. Look like a lot are from the leagues below when info does pop up. Any of them look worthwhile taking a punt on outside of Porter?

George Porter may be a difficult character but he is a class act and too good for NLS so if we can hold on to him we are doing really well - he has always shone against us when he has played us - I hope he does the same for us!
