BBC News - Sheffield United: Who wrote club anthem Greasy Chip Butty? www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-53908567An interesting thread about a Blades 'anthem'. Made me wonder about other clubs. Millwall spring to mind with their 'no one likes us'. Could Stones fans get more creative? The Lee Worgan song was always an amusing ditty, but a club standard that goes beyond the usual chants? No sure, though others will no doubt enlighten and might make a change from the usual pre season stuff.

Don't watch this video if you're missing football at JWW. I am now totally depressed...

In the early days of the Elvis End stand, when we were still enjoying the NL, I really loved that chant. I'm not a singer (for which everyone should be grateful!), but that song always used to make me want to go over there and join in (and be 40 years younger!). Same shivers down the spine as Bubbles at the Boleyn in the old days.

Lovely to know where it came from
