Looks a useful player BUT we already have 4 strikers on our books already. We already have a goalkeeping coach but that hasn't stopped us wasting money on another one. If Hak manages like he did last year then Olutade and Embrey will be loaned out on Oct 4th never to be seen again. Rendell should be first on the team sheet which only leaves Akanbi who blew hot and cold last season so one more striker would be an asset. We only have one assistant manager so we could do with 3 more of them and maybe 12 more Physios as injuries will come thick and fast with the number of games to be crammed in.

We may already have a goalkeeping coach but he also the first choice keeper. Can't really coach himself can he.

Rendell, Akanbi, Olutade and Embery are not enough ?
We want more strikers ?
Akanbi blows hot and cold. What's that all about ?
He's a good player, young and improving, works hard, scores goals, only injury and the virus stopped him getting 15+ goals over the season.
Rendell will be def on the team-sheet, Embery thinks he's going to get game time so that just leaves Olutade whose contracted for the season too.
We want a 5th striker signing when we are wafer thin in other positions ?

All strikers blow hot and cold and Covid break has nothing to do with things the way were playing at the end we would have been lucky to score another couple of goals let alone e Akanbi be bagging them though he did look the only one capable at the time. He does work hard but it's a shame it didnt rub off on some of his colleagues.

For me both Embrey and Olutade are unproven at this level and their performances Tuesday night didn't exactly fill me with confidence that anything is about to change anytime soon especially in Embrey's case.
It looks like Haken is going to play 4-3-3 so if Rendell is a replacement in the squad for Matt Mclure then we still need a player to replace Wishart.

I only saw the highlights but the 9 looked powerful and was prepared to defend. If he was Tomi Adeloye then he is surely the epitome of a journeyman player - 15 clubs in 5 years. It was surely only a matter of time before he rocked up at Maidstone. He only seems to stay a season at a club and he is not a prolific goal scorer. What I saw at HB looked good but if I was Hak I would want to speak to the managers that had him before.

Genuine question - how many trialists have we actually taken on in the last few years?
From memory, I can't think of any. Certainly any I've ever been impressed with never seem to have worn the B&A again!

Probably why they’re never named. The shame of being rejected at NLS level would kill any footballing career.
