Second round qualifying: Saturday 3 October 2020 Third round qualifying: Tuesday 13 October 2020 Fourth round qualifying: Saturday 24 October 2020
If the season is to start 1st week of October then we will start the season with an FA Cup game as we enter at 2nd qualifying round, certainly not ideal.

If the season starts then, nobody will be complaining. Steps 5,6 & 7 usually start their seasons with FA Cup games so if they can do it so can we.

It's good that they have kept the prizes for losing clubs in the qualifying rounds, but it serves to further illustrate the gap between the haves and have nots.
The decrease in prize money between the clubs from League 1 downwards (for the qualifying rounds and the 1st & 2nd rounds proper) totals just over £3.5m - that's a lot of cash not getting to the grassroots. The two teams that get to the final will get £4.5m between them, £900k each for winning the semi-final, then £900k to the runner up and £1.8m to the winner. The chances are that both of those clubs will be from the PL and already receiving well over £100m next season.
