One for the likes of Steve Hemsley, NWS, Chris West and Big Mick.....
Can anyone remember where we played the final of the 1994/95 West Kent Challenge Shield, vs Ex Blues, which we lost 0-2.
It was played on Tuesday May 9th 1995, three days after the Kent Junior Cupp Final at Canterbury if that helps.

My memory ain't good but I do remember driving over to Stonebridge road for a cup final so this could be the one.

Was that the one where Graham Martin was shouting 'ee-aye-adio, we won the cup', just for someone to yell at him 'Graham, it's a shield!'?

I was going to post and say that I didn't actually know we had reformed until 1996 so I wasn't there. I was also going to post and point out to Sword that the Stonebridge Road game was when Adrian Sharpe-Sponsored Peter Overton (RIP) scored the winner against Moonshot Athletic in extra time. It seems this has all been sorted though.

My comment was brought to you by several pints of something that might have been lager. You may well be right about Moonshot (whatever happened to them. I liked that club).

Let's go back and do it again. I mean who could forget the game against Lewisham when Richard Monks got sent off and started a mass brawl which saw Graham Martin's mum pick the corner flag out of the ground and start whacking Lewisham players around the head with it. Priceless!
