Breath taking 'Maidstone themed' finish at Weymouth, will leave Weymouth hosting Dartford next Saturday for the promotion decider .

Thanks Porky - completely forgot it was on! Wish we'd still got Odubade - one of my all-time favourite players. And a 'goal at just the right moment' specialist!
Difficult for me to say, but well done Dartford, their fans must be on the world's most unexpected high after the way things finished in February. But I'd rather Weymouth won the final - for old times sake, I suppose, I can't really take Dartford in the NL seriously.

On 17 August 2019, Weymouth beat Dartford 3 - 1 in the league @ Bob Lucas Stadium. A rather fine match report from Dartford is here: www.dartfordfc.com/event/weymouth-v-dartford/Probably can't read much into that, not least because Dartford were taking a right pumping from all sides at the start of 2019 / 20, and various players would have moved on in the interim.

Come on Weymouth. Can't have the darts getting promoted. Horrible club.

Since it was thanks to the Weymouth fans that we had enforced segregation for the entire (home) season: Come on Dartford

Alternatively, good riddance Weymouth and another local derby?

I'm delighted Weymouth progressed, sure the fans thing with our segregation was irritating but will not forget the Dorking away match in a hurry! Speaking to a sensible fan of theirs throughout the match before one lump of bright red lard turns around spouting that John Still's conduct deserved a ban from football management... And I am sure he took the Odubade goal just as well.
And let's not forget Havant, I had it on good authority one of their commentary duo got a bit too excited before the full time whistle and stormed off in a huff when it did not go their way before threatening to chuck someone off the gantry (not said to the individual in question, obviously). Lovely club.
