More excuses for non-attendance. Tsssk. I remember seeing that first game and our left back had been a team mate of mine the season before. It was desperate times! Hard to believe they didn't swoop for you too! An opportunity missed for both parties

Finishes MUFC 7 - 0 Guru Nanak. Final goal a pen. Was anybody looking over the fence? There were some cheeky chappies looking down through the gaps in the trees overlooking the river from time to time - not sure they knew what they were watching

Latest Pre Season Game for the Development Squad has finished as a 7 - 2 win against VCD, according to MUFC Twitter. Another fine performance from the boys. Some great goals and some lovely football, but I think they need to be looking at a higher level for their opposition. VCD were hardly a test, one very well taken goal and one that looked a mile offside as far as you can tell from the stream. Also, did the stream go offline a few minutes before the end it was that just me?

Latest Pre Season Game for the Development Squad has finished as a 7 - 2 win against VCD U 21, according to MUFC Twitter. Highlights of the game now available on U Tube. Stones Goals: 19, Brad Jeffrey, 20, Josh Strouts, 36 Josh Strouts, 45 Brad Jeffrey ( H Time 4 -2 ), 62 Perri Iandolo, 73 Perri Iandolo, 85 Neil Spencer. Agree with Dave's assessment about strength of opposition, however, some great goals, # 5 and 6 almost identical quality free kicks + # 7 real quality. I would say that all those looking for more signings should forget mediocre cast offs that no one else wants and beam up some of these lads.

I would say that all those looking for more signings should forget mediocre cast offs that no one else wants and beam up some of these lads. Indeed Perri Iandolo really impressed. Doesn't matter what level you play at and who the opposition are those two free kicks are always going in especially the 1st one. What impressed me though was his all round play. He was just as comfortable receiving the ball in front of the back four as he was in playing behind the forwards. Controlled the game and was always positive in his play. The cross for the 7th goal was pure class. The club made a mistake letting his brother slip through their fingers hopefully history will not repeat itself!
