Terry said the club surveyed the opinion of players that the club were interested in and they favoured the 3 mornings a week training schedule.
I think the club knows best and needs the income from being able to hire out facilities in the evening.

I've not been around for a while - been a bit busy at work - has there been any word on season ticket renewals? I haven't spotted anything in my emails but I'd hate to miss out.

No!they cannot renew season tickets until they know when the season is kicking off and how many games we sre likely to play.

Terry's letter was optimistic about what the government was due to announce, but I can't remember anything of much use to MUFC in that announcement except reducing the social distancing to 1m. There wasn't anything specificaly about football.
My guess is that Johnson doesn't give a flying fig about football, and probably isn't even aware there is football below the Premier (certainly not below the EFL). As far as he's concerned, the rich clubs can do OK from TV, and the rest just isn't important. Certainly not enough to be worrying about when he's already taking huge risks reopening the economy with the virus still rampant. He'll wait and see if there's any second wave before he does any more.
And the 'scientific' thinking seems to be that any second wave won't occur until the autumn, so we'll have to wait until then (although I fear that the virus isn't going to cooperate and wait that long). Put that lot together and factor in the time it will take to recruit players and get in enough training to be ready to play, and I can't see this season starting much before Christmas. And, if there is a significant second wave, not even then. I still think there's a good chance that there won't actually be a season at all.
So, I wouldn't worry too much about season tickets at the moment...

Can everyone tell us their qualifications in epidemiology and virology.
Personally, all I know is a wild guess, based on who I choose to believe that day.
I will buy a season ticket this year, so the club gets money. If I don’t get to every game, that’s no different to normal.

The later it starts the more home midweek games there will be and living in Tonbridge and having to rely on public transport combined with my disabilities and frequent illnesses it can become a bit of a chore trying to attend. I am not flush with money so it may not be financially viable to purchase one this season.

The season ticket debate might also depend on the Covid capacity rules. If limited to 1000 does that mean season ticket holders are included whether they attend or not? Is it fair on people who cannot afford a ST?
Would be better to hold off on season tickets imo and make every game all ticket first come first served. Like a big cup game.

JDL is almost certainly correct in his analysis, but his conclusion is unlikely to be on the money.
Nobody can be sure whether we are going to have a second wave, we hope not, but there again many of us hope to win the lottery each week.
The club's player recruitment and pre season training plans are gearing up now.
Expect mid September as the most likely start, with early October at the latest.
Whether we all live to regret it of course is another matter.

Season ticket holders fund the club early in the season. If you deny them first dibs it would be wrong. I was told the other day we had 700 season ticket holders last season. That would give 300 for first come first served. For the record i am a season ticket holder so if you want to criticise me for self interest but commercially it would be a bad move by the club to ignore us.

As I have said on another thread should attendances be limited to 1000 that I would give this season a miss .

I'm a season ticket holder too Dave but there are a lot of fans who do not have the luxury of being able to hand over a couple of hundred quid at this difficult time. If games are all ticket the club can budget as it will know it will get a sell-out every game.
