When the hairdresser becomes leader of Maidstone Borough Council in a few years Mr Oxford, you'll rue those words A little unlikely, as he lives in Debrecen, eastern Hungary! But I share Oxford's frustration - too much bollocks on here about new signings. The only posts about new signings that matter are the ones the club issues when they've actually signed someone! Valid, but when the suggestions come from evidence such as Rob's post about further signings from the old squad, that part had been added to the KM article since I read it under the impression George would be the final signing from last year. Also, was I on heavy pain meds last season or did they announce at the supporters evening that every player was on a two year deal (or at least had the option for a further year agreed)?

I think it was the meds - even Terry at his most random wouldn't announce that!

Boucard could be the man, he has the know-how and experience. But has he got the legs and can we afford him ? I just wonder if he us the sort of player that the owners have said we will see less of at the Gallagher. I know nothing, but I would suspect we only keep Boucard if he has no other credible offers. The look on his face last year (IIRC ) at some of the subs & changes for example indicated a man who was totally baffled by the tactical genius being displayed from the bench.

This is the part I was thinking of www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLYt8ktWj-4And yes I know about those drifting, in some cases the larger portion of 2 year deals or options agreed could have been let go. I am a bit surprised Noah Chesmain did not have an option agreed, but it means little if there is a want for more money and we expect the same levels of effort! Historically doesn't end well for clubs with more resources.

So, we have AN eleven then. Just not necessarily the best one yet. Still, at least, two months still to go...

Don't think we need 2 months, we can expect 2/3/4 signings be the w/e. But who ?

Seems that we can expect one more from last seasons squad as well as a couple of newcomers.

Former Braintree midfielder Billy Crook has left Dartford.

Billy the Fish might be a better option...

Still waiting for news of the 'old fans favourite' We know who it isn't, still no nearer knowing who it is, or maybe who it was.

Expect to hear that Chesmain will have re-signed by close of play tomorrow.
