So, Dover, Bromley and Fleet get over four times as much as us... £13,636 - equivalent to a gate of 909, at £15 each. At a guess, probably about, or a little short of, an average game's income for us (excl STs)? I can understand why they get more than us. They are in what is effectively a full-time league.. we are not. Most have full-time players but most NLS teams pay part time wages.

I think if/when football resumes for a new season we will see a much more even set up for the league, in as far as no outlandish spending/sugar daddy type teams which will be only a good thing. Whilst we may have spent unwisely in the past we are still in a far better position than most other clubs who will no longer be able to throw money around due to belts being tightened and we can only thank our owners for keeping us on that even keel in a way a lot of others simply won’t be able to compete considering some teams average gates. Hopefully when there’s some clarity on things everyone gets behind the team as much as they can by getting a season ticket etc which will help the club immensely in the early stages Alternatively, businesses that have done well out of Wuflu/MylieCyrus could become the new sugar daddies. Examples might include: Ocadover Amazonfleet Facemask FC Tonbridge Am sure there will be some better ones out there... Dover-2-metres-away Havant & Waterloopaper Unwelling United

I did post near the end of the season that we could have finished above Aldershot if we won our last few games knowing that Gateshead were leaving the league, but alas......

So whilst it may help with cash today it will potentially impact next season's P&L depending on how it is accounted. P.S. I am not an accountant so will defer to more qualified views on treatment.

Why are we so bothered about what other clubs are getting surely we should be grateful we are getting something, plenty of clubs would greatly appreciate £13,636.

Bad news for steps 3 and 4, not only do they not get emergency funding from the prem league their main sponsors BetVictor have pulled the plug on them as well.

Amazon won't be looking at little ol train stations in Kent, lots of talk about them being in advanced talk with spurs over the naming of the stadium and with Daniel levy involved they won't be getting it cheap.

The non league paper reports that Chesterfield have handed over their car park to the nhs for Coronavirus testing. Hmm! Why would you want to test your car park for Coronavirus ?
