My northern team Whitley Bay fc have postponed their next 3 games after a player tested positive for Covid 19,one of these is the FA cup tie at home to Dunston.😥☹ Whitley bay have been given permission to play their FA Cup game in Saturday despite supposedly having to self isolate their players for 14 days. Answers on a Postcard please 🤯 Well a Whitley bay player tests positive for Covid 19 so they cancel 3 games including the FA cup game on Saturday. The FA then say, that despite the fact they should be self isolating for 14 days, the tie can go ahead.Whitley's opponents Dunston have now forfeited the game because one of their players has tested positive, just what is going on on th NE of this country.

My one regret from our Isthmian days was never getting an away visit to Guernsey... But there's a club where the finances really do bother me! How the hell do they afford all that travel??

Someone must be putting some serious money into the club, because they also have to cover the cost of any visiting teams travel and accommodation.

But I suppose it makes sense - part of the conditions of their entry into the league, I suppose? I've often wondered if at least some of their money comes from the States of Guernsey, or their tourist board. Mind you, there are an awful lot of stinkingly rich people on the island, so I imagine funding Guernsey FC is probably peanuts for one or two of them.

Lots of money sloshing around there, prime place to register companies ' offshore ' - all totally legit of course

Wow. After all these scares and last-minute reprieves, finally another club goes under. There must be quite a few other clubs reading this and quietly shitting themselves. Feel for the poor bloody fans, of course - we all know what they've got ahead of them now... Who's next? In Oliver & Terry (and Bill) we trust.

Will this mean a reprieve for Fleet, or is it too late? If it is too late. Fleet fans are going to be very pissed off!

What is staggering is that the NL were satisfied with whatever guarantees Macclesfield provided that they could compete this season.

Again I ask, if they have been wound up for £500,000 then why cannot they pay it out of the £750 000 parachute payment?

My understanding is that they are 'funded' by an owner of one of the big online betting companies.
I went across for a match against Carshalton Athletic about 4 years ago - missing a Stones home game in doing so. Were playing then at a ground part of a sports complex but they've announced a new ground 'of their own' since then.
