How about the Spitfire Lounge, surrounded by celebrating supporters - and I mean before the first match back!

My next pub drink will probably be when I next enter a pub. As an "essential" member of the workforce and still out on the prowl, I can't drink at the moment.

Admittedly Masterbrew and Spitfire are pretty generic but Bishops Finger and 1698 are both decent ales and if you like it really dark and bitter I recommend their porter.

I do like Bishops finger and 1668. I dont like the spitfire lounge or their over inflated prices. Two seasons ago a bottle of Bishops finger was Ā£3.80 now it is Ā£4.70 that's a 90p hoik far more than inflation .

It will be a potentially much bigger challenge getting back to normal than it was instigating Lockdown. Everyone's instincts will be to rush outside like kids at playtime - exactly what isn't needed. Thinking back to this time last week, we still had all our take aways and high street shops, though pubs were closed. Parks were open though. Even if that is the first step back, it is natural to assume that many will want a retail fix, so how can that be staged, so that we don't suddenly have the issues that social distancing has now prevented? Not sure if restrictions will be lifted two weeks hence, but suspect that the longer they go on, the more likely it will be that crowds occur everywhere when relaxed. How will people be controlled? Being socially responsible is not something this country has collectively been good at thus far - panic buying early, then all out to the parks and seaside on the first sunny weekend. Answers on a postcard to 10 Downing Street?

Maybe when we are all released back into society before we all start to celebrate we all raise our glass an spend a moment thinking of all of those who did not make it. I personally thin time before we are allowed out.

This current crisis has seen the majority of the country pull together and I would hope that we could take the lessons we have learnt and make this country once again the best in the world to live in. Then again I hope Maidstone will win the FA Cup next year. I wonder which one will disappoint me the most.

Answers on a postcard to 10 Downing Street? Yeah I've heard talk of street parties (or community parties organised by local football clubs eg Didcot, to raise money...) but I foresee an exhausted gradual trickle back to normality. It can't happen overnight. Then there will be the people who want to jump on a plane to Spain and cause a 2nd wave...
