Just you I think. Funny height and speed for a cross. True, but many of his crosses are at a funny height and speed anyway 🤣

I did wonder at the time if it was a 'mishit' cross (wouldn't be the first time), but he certainly looked like he meant it at the time. And, looking at the video, if it was a cross, it was an awful one!
But, if you think about it, a large percentage of goals are to some extent 'mishits' - not just crosses that go in, but own goals, ricochets, keeper mistakes, etc. And then, of course most actual goal shots don't result in a goal.
Sort of sums up football really - 90 minutes of mostly thwarted expectations, with occasional surprises!

I worked with a guy whose surname was O'Shea and his elder brother was called Richard! At what point did his parents realise this was not a good idea?! Mind you, I also knew a John Thomas. He was our contact in another office, so when we rang up and asked for him we always prayed that we'd get someone who knew who 'John' was and didn't ask for his full name - it was impossible to say with a straight face! Also knew a Wayne Kerr, but sadly never a Hugh Janus...

At least his parents didn't name him Michael. Many years ago I had to make regular visits to an important customer and my contact there was one Michael Hunt, he always insisted on being called Mike. Made things awkward when I had to enter reception and say "I've come to see M*** H***".

Back on Topic. I can't see any reference to the length of his contract, hopefully it includes next season as well.

Well, as he came over here to play for Crawley in the EFL, I can't see him diminishing his prospects of a move to the league by committing himself past the end of this season.

Well, as he came over here to play for Crawley in the EFL, I can't see him diminishing his prospects of a move to the league by committing himself past the end of this season. Indeed, and that is the concern for many of our squad if we don't get promoted, given that they are all FT professional and therefore are either growing talents looking to up the leagues like the Saidoos and Temelci's or always looking for more money or a better place like Wishart. Will JS2 and HH be able to keep the squad together or will it be another summer rebuild with most signings happening in the last month before season start and needing another two months to "gel"! We all hope not! That's a long way off yet though, so lets enjoy the run-in, the battle for a play off slot, and the excitement of whatever those play-offs bring. On this seasons showings, we there are no guarantees which means its going to be a roller coaster!
