Good news, but I had assumed Marshall was already on a contract? The squad's really starting to look good now. All we're missing is someone up front who knows how to score goals! I wasn't too bothered when McClure went, but it looks like he was even more key to our goal scoring than I thought. If we'd managed to hold on to him I think we'd be up there with Wealdstone, Slough and H&W now as one of the teams to beat.

Perhaps we should try and sign that J Edwards bloke from Biggleswade, he is banging them in left, right and centre.

I guess Marshall was a free agent; I don't think he is currently as good as Johnson as he seems to lack the pace to recover when players go past him.
If we had had the current midfield three earlier in the season I think we would already be in a play-off spot.

Yes good news indeed, Temelci was a great find on our tight budget and it would have been a real shame if we hadn't signed him up properly.
I'm not so convinced with Marshall although to be fair, he has looked better in central defence than he did in midfield and with the small squad and tight budget it probably makes sense to keep him for the time being, as he is settled in.

No doubt about Temelci, he is a goodun and has earn't a contract.
Had some doubts about Marshall, looked a bit ponderous and lost in midfield sometimes.
Better at full back and even better at centre back, on showings so far.
So given his age and stuff, another decent signing.

Our midfield has gone from being one of our weakest aspects, to our strongest.
I like the three and wonder how Corne will fit back in. Hope they don’t plonk him out on the wing like we used to with Paxman.
Maybe we will just rotate.

I think he’s worth a go in a McClure role, with Wishart suspended could come on behind Justin and Ibby, unless they decide to swap Justin to the left and Corne to the right midfield

Is Amaluzor left or right-footed? It's difficult to tell. I assumed he is left-footed because he wears 11 (I'm a traditionalist), but his goal on Saturday was right-footed.

Left footed ( which makes his goal Saturday all the more special) he was signed towards the end of last season as a left winger but Wish, who was expected to move on in the summer, has rightfully made the left midfield role his own.

I'm the only one who thinks Justin's wonder goal was actually an attempted cross with his wrong foot that just got lucky?

Yeah. I did too. As soon as he hit it I thought that he’d hit that cross a bit hard!
I like the percentages option there though. Banging across and anything could happen. Assist a striker, OG or fly in!

Just you I think. Funny height and speed for a cross.
