Financially, would the powers that be really want us to go back into the national league again so soon? I reckon they would yes. Bigger crowds, more BT money, better sponsorship deals, more exposure to investors, better prize money. Agreed! The key point here, for me, is we would be a lot more attractive to new investors as a national league prem side.

Certainly think we are only one booking away from losing Wishart for a game. Is it just one game for 10 bookings? Two games are missed for 10 yellows before match week 32 I think

How many play off this year? Is it half the division again? Worked for Tonbridge.

I'm thinking the predictor is not too far off the mark. As long as we steer clear of injuries in the run-in, I quite fancy the team to finish 5th or 6th. 5th would be more than handy meaning a home tie in the first play-off match, rather than a potentially longish trip to the West Country.

Last two games of the season, home to Wealdstone and away at Slough.

Need to be sure of a spot by then, though if Wealdstone are already promoted and Slough sure of their spot, things might be easier?

Don't think it ever works like that. Confidence breeds confidence. Winners don't take it easy.

I think its more likely we will make play offs than not, looking at current form. Then I think that its more likely we will get beaten by someone else than not, but as its a knockout tournament, you just never know. If we do somehow get to, and win, the play off final our owners, and everyone, will be, and should be, absolutely ecstatic - as it would be a massive and unexpected achievement, just like it was the last time. Would we survive in NL second time around? Well, we would certainly be a lot wiser from the last foray so who knows?

Seriously though, how many of us, given the choice of NL or NS, would opt for another season in the NS?

Football Web Pages predictor has us finishing 6th on 68 points above Dartford & Dorking. Last 10 season's top 7 points:
09/10 103 75 75 72 72 71 71 10/11 89 82 78 77 76 75 74 11/12 97 88 81 74 71 67 66 12/13 86 82 76 72 72 70 67 13/14 86 81 80 74 69 69 66 14/15* 77 75 73 72 70 67 65 15/16 90 84 77 65 64 61 59 16/17 98 96 84 82 71 70 69 17/18 86 86 74 72 70 69 69 18/19 88 78 76 72 71 70 66
*2 matches shorter with Salisbury not completing the season
Accepting that past performances don't predict the future but 68 points would only make 6th place in 3 out of the last 10 seasons, and one of those with fewer games, and wouldn't have made the top 7 at all in 4 of them.
