Heard a rumour that our U23s are set to leave The Suburban League at the end of the season and join The Southern Counties East Division 1 next season and play against the likes of Lydd Town Etc. Anybody else heard this?

Why not just put them in Kent League Division 2...

Havn't heard the rumour but is makes sense. They are probably too good for the Suburban League and if they want the players to develop, upping the challenge is a must.

Why not just put them in Kent League Division 2... That is basically Kent League Div 2 as it doesn't exist anymore. No reserve sides at the moment though.

I have seen the team play and really enjoyed it, they do deserve to be on a better league

Seems a great idea, will cut down on unnecessary travel time to away games and playing ex County League teams who will see the black & amber as kicking practice will toughen our lads up.

I see there’s a lad called Perri Iandalo in the reserve squad. I’m wondering if it’s just a minor spelling typo of the surname and curious to know if he’s related to Ellis Iandolo, the player, now a regular in the Swindon side with Kaiyne Woolery, who was very highly rated by JS1
Anyone know?
