Moanystone: Now listen to me. I follow a team as good as Bath. When I follow a team as good as Bath I expect us to beat them. Oliver: (confused) We are as good as Bath – we drew at their place. Moanystone: I'm not paying £15 to watch us get dumped out of the Trophy by Concord when we can’t even beat Bath! Oliver: But we drew against Bath! Moanystone: You call that a draw? We conceded a last-minute equaliser. It's disgraceful... and another thing. I booked a team capable of a play-off spot. Oliver: [quietly to Terry] Deaf, mad and blind. [Goes to the teamsheet] Yes, this is the squad as I remember it, yes, yes, this is it. Moanystone: When I pay for a team capable of a play-off spot, I expect something more talented than that. Oliver: This is Maidstone United, sir. Moanystone: Well it's not good enough. Oliver: Well, may I ask what you expected to see at a newly-relegated National South side? Mo Salah, perhaps? Lionel Messi? Sergio Aguero sweeping majestically...? Moanystone: Don't be silly. I expect to be able to see two successive wins. Oliver: We HAD two successive wins. In October against King’s Langley and Billericay. Moanystone: I don’t count FA Cup games against Hertfordshire villages. Oliver: Well, then, may I suggest you move to Gillingham. Mrs Richards: Now listen to me. I am not satisfied. However, I have decided to keep supporting the Stones. But I shall expect a reduction. Oliver: Why, because Boucaud has only scored twice in his career and didn’t get a hat-trick on Saturday? Mrs Richards: Because the midfield is non-existent, we didn’t beat Bath, the view of the play-offs is invisible and the scoreboard doesn't work. Oliver: No, the scoreboard works. [mutters] You don't. Mrs Richards: What? Oliver: I'll see if I can fix it [mutters] you clueless t**t.

Hilarious, well done!
However, are you comparing our Management Team to Basil and Sybil Fawlty? Does that make Bill Williams the Major? Terry is Manuel? HW as that slippery bloke trying to sh*g his girlfriend in his hotel room?

I always thought Oliver worked at the Ministry of Silly Walks.

I just found myself saying "what do you expect?" through gritted teeth, Basil style, at some of the people on here who seem to think it's a game of Football Manager.

Thinking of our performance at St Albans reminds me of the opening sequence of Fawlty Towers episode when the hotel sign is anagrammatically changed to Flowery Twats.

I take it you were happy Saturday then Didn't let it spoil my day. Too skint to go, but will be at Chippenham even though invited to Oxford v Sunderland same day.

Kassam is a soulless dump though and despite living around here for nearly 20 years I have no affinity with the Us.

I take it you were happy Saturday then It's football. You take the rough with the smooth. I didn't go so can't comment on the game, but I do find it strange that people were saying we shouldn't go for promotion and would be happy with upper mid-table and are now whining like spoilt kids because that's exactly where we are. I went on the Facebook group the other night and it was full of posts about how shit and lacking ambition the owners are and how we need new owners with deep pockets. Christ it's worse on there than it is on here.

Christ it's worse on there than it is on here. indeed, it's amazing how some fans seem to think they have the right to demand our owners spend money they don't want to, out of their own pockets. I wonder what those fans reactions would be if our owners rocked up in whatever local ale house they hang out in on a Saturday night, and 'demanded' the fans use their money to buy them a drink. Our owners have spent about 3 million quid on creating a football club playing at a good level in Maidstone. Some of our supporters need to learn how to show some respect.

Or go back and watch the team they were supporting pre 2012.
