To anyone who is aquainted with Mishi
Very sad to say he passed away this morning. An absolute stalwart of Dulwich Hamlet and non-league football. I only met him a couple of times but had many exchanges on various forums over the years.
Rest in peace pal, sadly missed.

Well said Dave, such sad news likewise I only spoke with him a few times whilst visiting Dulwich, he was always friendly and approachable. R.I.P

The reaction on Twitter tells you how well respected he was in non league. Matt Walker and the NLP among others, as well as supporters from clubs all over the country.

Nice to see that he got a mention on Football Focus at lunchtime. Never met the bloke, but he was always entertaining on the fora he used.
A sad loss to our end of the game in particular, and football in general.

It would be superb if on 28th December the club did a minutes applause for Mishi ( before Dulwich Home ) - a bit late maybe, but would be a fine gesture appreciated by all travelling fans esp. Come on Ian, we can do it !
On edit - have e mailed the club, lets see what happens !

He was also well known in ice hockey circles, i met him at Streatham, Romford and Chelmsford on a regular basis when watching games and although we didn't stop and have long chats we'd always acknowledge each other and he was always picking up on my various minor league ice hockey shirts from the us and Canada. I know he also frequented lee valley and Haringey a fair bit too, Streatham i know did a piece on him as that was his team. I also noticed on twitter the German teams who have a good relationship with Dulwich honouring Mishi as well.
