According to the Tonbridge programme today our Bixing day fixture is now 13.00 kick off. Apparently we have agreed to it . Nice of the club to inform us isn't it

Interesting why they changed it, not as if its particularly troublesome to play a game at the standard time. Only reason I can think of is they are anticipating trouble

Maybe it's to do with the buses. There's no trains on Boxing Day and, if they're running a Sunday timetable, then only one bus would run back to Maidstone after 5pm.

Just a quick update on Boxing day pubs. The Beer Seller will be open as will the Chequers but the nearest pub to the ground the Royal Oak is definitely NOT opening. My advice would be to drink at the ground as it's a fair walk up from the town.

I am assuming that we are to be housed at the Marquee end and providing the old bill let them open it the big tent can comfortably cater for 3-400 people.
