I will not be at Blackpool, but I think it will be a Blackpool win. What I really want is for our boys to go out and play football, let them know Maidstone United are back in the hunt and gunning for scalps

You should have pitched a tent at the ground I also remember we signed their keeper after he played a blinder against us,he was about 50 years old and turned out to be utterly hopeless. The name Alan Richards springs to mind but my memory for names us not good.

That was the way in those days. It became known as Pedro Knight syndrome.

One Rusthall away game in KCL.. we won a penalty shoot out in a cup to win our first match in about 12.. 1996/97 I think. We were shocking. PBB was having to be manager and physio. We still had about 50 fans there. That was the season we would have been relegated back to KCL 2 had Paddock Wood not folded.

Looks like Blackpool enjoy 2-2 draws as well. I'd take that and a replay.

No. Rus hall was well before that nonsense I think it was the same year we played Blackheath away and despite walking past about 40 games being played on the heath ours was called off. I climbed over the wrought iron gates to inspect the pitch which was definitely playable but was chased off by the groundsman and his huge Alsatian. A few hours later I was told by one of their players it was called off because they could only field 8 players. Happy days!

Blackpool lost 1-3 at home to Scunthorpe in the EFL Cup tonight.
Don't mess with their stewards.
