The biggest difference between this season an last season in my opinion is that luckily this year it seems we have players who actually want to play for the club rather than just pick up some wages.

In Hak's interview he said they needed cover because Clovis and Corne are both injured and Marshal is suspended, so not necessarily anyone being shown the door at this point.

Maybe if they are allowing him to play for us tomorrow in the FA Cup the loan may be extended beyond a month, seems strange to bring him in for such a short time yet allowing him to be cup-tied. They could be out before us Good prediction!

James looked more than useful today , it could be a good month.

Except both Marshall and James look better options than Clovis. Hak made it pretty clear he would like to sign James for the whole season if circumstances allowed.. Clovis leaving may allow it to happen.

Isn't £75,750 in prize money "circumstances"?

Not forgetting, on the new signing front, the 3 U23 players given senior contracts. My little team being Liverpool, it's been quite a good weekend...

I think 50% of that 75k was already factored in. Need a round 2 win or a big club draw or tv money to seal the deal.

Linking in another thread, Dulwich Hamlet may not have progressed to Round 2 but they've, probably, had a more financially successful cup run than us so far.
