I was there! Brilliant game. Gall and Butler, oh to have those two again. I was there too, Butler's chip was sublime. I can remember watching him race clear from my place in the shed and wondering what he was going to do - I think I made as good a guess as the keeper!

I like the fact it started out as a tribute to Tynan and was presumably supposed to follow his triumphant march to the next round, and ended with an arse-slapping. I auppose the fact he scored made it a bit less embarrassing for the BBC.

I saw Tynan score the only goal for Plymouth against Derby County in an FA Cup quarter final replay at the Baseball Ground in 1983/84. Twas an upset, and the only time I have been to Derby. Except once to the theatre, where I saw a young Samantha Bond get her kit off in a Tom Stoppard play. Just nostalging….

Back then we (apparently) had players dashing out of the stands leaving us wondering what they will do.
Nowadays the opposite.
