Interesting point about the racism ,with the whites in our squad numbering far less than the blacks then technically the whites are the ethnic minority so shouldn't the racists be targeting the whites. Can you call a white man a racist if he abuses his own kind? It would surely be like abusing yourself well some in the town end have been doing that for years, wankers! I must though be careful what I say as I have been incorrectly labelled as racist by more than one person on this board sho really haven't worked out where I am coming from. Another point on this matter is the walk off at Haringey Borough last week, was it the right thing to do? In these circumstances maybe Yes but are you not setting a dangerous precedent by doing so as now any team losing 1-0 with time running out can just walk off the pitch and say it was because of racial abuse unless of course the Fa punish Haringey for doing so but then surely if that is what the FA do then are they advocating racism? Theres a few points for you to chew over but I am pretty sure I will be wrong on all of them.

You're not a racist, Sword, to point out a possible flaw in the actions of the Haringey players which could get abused by unscrupulous teams, but everyone else is too frightened to raise it for being accused of being racist. Racism is wrong, full stop - against any colour, creed, religion etc. However, we do have to be careful about teams walking off willy-nilly - what is the correct FA ruling in this area for what a team can LEGITIMATELY do, within the rules of the game, in these circumstances (i.e. racist abuse from the terraces). I only ask as we may, sadly, have to follow this path ourselves one day with the current squad, which some of these threads feel that is already happening to the Stones?

One of these issues is a serious, global problem that affects billions of people. The other is a hypothetical problem which might theoretically affect 0.001% of football matches. I say let's tackle them in that order.

On the “walking off” part of the thread - it could cause a precedent like you mention but if it finally gets the FA and the “game” to address the problem instead of paying lip service, then it’s a risk worth taking.

So that makes 2 clubs managed by Sol Campbell on the list. Any coincidence?
