For me it’s got to be the Deep Blue in Union Street. Best cod n chips in Maidstone. With a gherkin mmmmmm nice Oooh, I was having a Saturday afternoon on the beer a while back, and popped in there and had exactly that. Awesome, it was. I do like the one at the bottom of Gabriel's Hill (Brittania?). That always good, and a little bit cheaper, if I recall correctly.

The chip shop on the Loose road has been voted the best in Kent and is in the final 3 for the best in the country.

I prefer sweet waffles - with chocolate sauce. Speciality in Belgium. That's a country in the EU. Foreign muck. Give me a good old British Apple Crumble and Custard anytime. Try it with vanilla ice cream melting over it. You won't regret it.
