With today's weather forecast, a hat is essential one would think.

Pennell is very left-footed and has looked uncomfortable playing on the right. I think his main role will be as back-up for George & Chesmain. That doesn't really explain his reluctance to head the ball. Couldn't believe the number of time he let it bounce, particularly after the break, and ended up being bailed out by George. Maybe he was simply trying to get the ball down and play, and that was what JS meant by trying to play like Bobby Moore. I think you will find he broke his neck last year so that could explain it.

Didn't know that, but unfortunate though it is, if he's now reluctant to head the ball it surely spells the end of his career as a centre half.

Wow, did not know that, how awful. But if it means he is holding back now from really going for headers, it doesn't auger well.

Auger or augur, the worry is still that we seem to have a centre back who is ducking out of heading the ball. Time for oldboy to press the panic button methinks.

I thought you were hinting at oldboy going CB I could do a better job at CB than Pennell, I think. Nick - you forgot, you have the Panic Button now and you already pressed it incessantly after Dorking, remember? I think we are looking good for a potentially nice cup run (If the draws are good to us) and are still play off challengers. In John and Hak we trust!

It is always a relief when Mr Oldboy is in a positive frame of mind. Let's hope it lasts a while longer.
