I fear you are leaving pedantry behind and veering dangerously close to nit-picking. You can fear all you want but there were plenty of games last season when the travelling to and from the games and interacting with fellow sufferers (and opposition supporters/staff) was, for me, more enjoyable than the football.

Fleet and Hartlepool both get rid of managers today. Not surprised at either sacking as Hartlepool were pretty awful in last night's live game against a mediocre Stockport side. I am sure mr Harris will be wanking himself silly at the laughable prospect of Darylls return.

Jay Saunders is being touted as the new manager. Could do worse. Young enough but experienced. Knows the league. Ex Fleet. And won't have to uproot and move house.

You can take Wheeler and shove him up your arse! He's had more clubs than Tiger Woods. Don't think there will be any rush to appoint a new man, our new number 2, Watson is pretty experienced and very hands on. With King now at Dirtford, Saunders does see. to fit the bill.

I genuinely feel a bit sorry for Garry Hill. He conducted himself with great dignity and loyalty throughout the financial shit storm last season, and then I thought the fact he was able to put together any sort of squad this season was nothing short of miraculous. He is the sort of person who will probably blame himself to a certain extent but I thought he did very well under the most trying of circumstances and he'll soon be back in a job elsewhere.
